SportsBiz Builders will launch their initial Collective Career Coaching Cohorts the week of October 12th. These early cohorts will be focused on sales reps who been in the industry for only a couple of years and have recently been furloughed. Coaching will focus on what skills sales reps should be developing during furlough and the development of plan to reenter the business.
Company Co-Founder Ken Troupe states, “we believe the time is now for the development of a sports career coaching business for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, the Covid Pandemic and the resulting furloughing of staffs has put a great number of under 30 sports professionals, specifically ticket sellers out of work and worried about what is next for their careers. The second factor is the amount of under trained ticket sales leaders that have never been through a situation like this before and are unsure how to handle or communicate to their staffs about what is next”.
